INTRODUCTORY COURSE:

The sea provides situations which are unknown and unexpected, and, of course, always new. The paddlers adventure out onto their voyage moved by the strength of their arms and guided by their experience and knowledge.To be able to enjoy fully the sea kayak and explore the coastline, we need to know our limits. Through our theoretical and practical courses you can find out the incredible navigation possibilities of the sea kayak accompanied by an expert paddler. Without this experience even the slightest change in the sea can cause us problems. The mild climate of our coasts allows us to paddle in the sea all year round. We can delight in the tranquillity of the beaches, coves and coastline in Spring, Autumn and Winter. Navigating at a walking pace you are doing gentle exercise doable for anyone. This sport can also be done at a far more demanding pace.

SUBJECT: Knowledge and use of material. Basic manoeuvres. Paddling techniques. Safety measures and norms. Initial contact with sea navigation. Turning over and saving yourself (self-rescue techniques). Techniques to control the kayak in waves. Price 4 hour course: 150euros. Special price for 2: 100 euros/person. 

ESKIMO ROLLING CLASS:

Every kajaker remember the excitement of their first roll!!! Rolling a kayak is a invaluable safety skill where a capzised paddler rights the boat without exiting the cockpit.  A reliable roll allows you to paddle with more confidence in a greater variety of ocean conditions.

Our instructors will lead you through a series of steps designed to build confidence and make rolling as easy as possible. Working on the roll will also improve your bracing skills and thereby decrease your risk of capsize, allowing you to have more fun on the water! Our Introductory Rolling Classes are designed both for paddlers who have never attempted rolling and for those who have done some work with the roll and are still not there.
